Italy's jewellery industry started over 3,000 years ago with the Etruscan civilization and since then, it has grown into one of the most well-respected and innovative jewellery markets in the world. Italian brands are known for their style and high quality products, and it is no different in the jewellery industry than it is in any of the country's 
other well-respected sectors such as car manufacturing and fashion.
One of Italy's most famous brands is Bulgari, also known as BVLGARI, who produces some of the country's most innovative handbags, watches and other forms of jewellery. Combining jewels with high quality craftsmanship, Bulgari's products are much sought after and their price tag reflects the demand for the bespoke items.
Another leader in Italy's jewellery sector is the Damiani Group, who have won 18 Diamond International Awards – the jewellery world's equivalent of the Oscars. Their products are often seen on film stars all over the world when they are walking on the red carpet, giving them a form of celebrity kudos.
